Josaia Mc Namara is a visionary artist, living in Waisasavu Village, Naitasiri, Fiji. He makes paintings, drawings, prints and collages. He optained his Masters degree in painting and design at Dhaka University in Bangladesh in 2008. He worked as a research artist at the Oceania Center for Arts and Culture at USP in Suva, Fiji from 1998 - 2009. Josaia has widely exhibited his works locally and internationally. He derives his inspirational philosophy from the foundation of three humanitarian principals that are based on culture, religion and spirituality. Josaia envisions these principals as a formation of creation through his life and in the Arts as a single entity within the uniy of the Universal Trinity.
